Must have expertise in development for interface with Bloomberg APIs
Scope of Work
Bloomberg based application interfaces.
Maintain and enhance current applications interface.
Recommend solutions that can be implemented, after review by team.
Make changes to code, perform unit testing, and assist the business team in user acceptance testing, adhering to all change management policies and procedures.
Responsible for functional and technical documentation.
Skill Set Requirements:
4-6 years of relevant experience as an interface developer.
Hands-on Bloomberg experience is a must for this role
Knowledge of the Bloomberg IMS framework functionality
End-user support experience on the client-side
Strong general knowledge of asset management operations
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) preferred
Working technical knowledge of programming languages, including C# (.NET Framework 4.0 or later) and APL, F# a plus
Able to create database schemas, objects, packages that represent and support business processes using Oracle 12c database as the backend.
Strong unit test and debugging skills
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git or SVN}}
Knowledge of UNIX Shell Scripts is a plus
