We are currently seeking a AWS Cloud Architect to join our team in Chamblee, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US).
AWS Cloud Architect on CDC’s initiative to accelerate cloud adoption and operate mission-critical data center through government contractor. Expertise in providing solutions to provide, operate and manage AWS cloud services.
Job Responsibilities and skills:
- Deliver AWS cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company and assist in modernizing efforts by planning
- Build AWS cloud with related IaaS, PaaS and SaaS
- Offer guidance in application migration from on-prem data center to AWS Cloud with related AWS cloud services
- Translate organizational level business requirements and use cases into architectural capabilities verified to meet the requirements
- Design solution-independent architecture models that map business services to cloud application stacks
- Continuously manage, monitor, and update architecture models as business needs evolve and additional cloud services become available
- Assist product owners, solution architects, and application architects in designing scalable, highly available, secure, cost-effective solutions that leverage cloud services
- Define and document cloud solution architecture(s) including technical designs and diagrams.
- Assist product owners, solution architects, and application architects in designing scalable, highly available, secure, cost-effective solutions that leverage cloud services
- Expert level in Infrastructure & Application architecting in AWS Cloud including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
- Has strong experience in migration from on-prem data center to AWS Cloud with related cloud services.
- Familiar Hybrid Cloud and related technology and be able to support connection with Azure and Private cloud in Hybrid cloud service.
- Very familiar Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) Standards.
- Expert in AWS cloud cost model and services.
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
- Excellent knowledge of cloud technologies and hybrid cloud service.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners
- Cloud Architect Certification from AWS Cloud
- 5+ years’ experience designing, executing and supporting AWS Cloud with hands-on experience.
- 5+ years’ experience with Infrastructure & Application architecting in AWS Cloud including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field.
