We are currently seeking a Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) SME to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Summary:
The primary purpose for this position is to build software solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) that meet the business needs. In this position you may participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, solution design, hands-on coding, platform installation and configuration, component deployment, testing, and/or documentation activities according to the needs of the project. As a member of the CX Engineering team you will lead the development of AEM solutions that include installing and configuring AEM modules, development websites and demos, developing training material and best practices for AEM deployments and migration/upgrades.

Participate in a dynamic development environment where solutions evolve daily as customer demands emerge over time.
Facilitate/lead/participate in identification of solution options to meet technical requirements
Provide hands-on designs, prototypes, and implementations incorporating software engineering best practices, tools and monitoring according to industry best practices.
Regularly interface with architects, analysts, process designers, business SMEs, and users to understand and evaluate business requirements.
Be an advocate for sound decision making, in the spirit of empowering your colleagues and team to pursue the best technology choices possible given the constraints we ask you to operate in.
Act as an advocate and as a reference point for other members on the team by championing best engineering practices.
Basic Qualifications:
University degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent experience
5+ years in software engineering and/or IT Solution Delivery
4+ years experience in developing solution using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
4+ experience in an agile environment – focused on advocacy and puritan beliefs
