Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Principal Test Engineer to join our growing team of qualified, diverse individuals at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia. The selected candidate will be able to invest years of experience into a future of excellence as a Test Engineer, providing engineering support for Military Avionics programs.
Analyzes electronic capabilities to resolve problems and output requirements.
Prepares technical data packages.
Simulates and tests hardware/software test programs.
Performs data analysis.
Researches and collaborates with the team and with leadership avionic testing and analysis DIVSE NGSkills
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
2. A current U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance (or higher).
3. Ability to obtain/maintain access to work on-site at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia.
4. Familiarization with component level engineering and requirements decomposition for obsolescence resolution.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Strong background in general avionics; Military avionics systems experience desired. 2. Background in DMSS (Diminishing Manufacturing Sources of Supply) issue resolution; familiarity with DLA 339 or AFMC 202 requests desired. 3. Familiarity with the USAF Technical Order System to include change preparation and submittal. 4. Familiarity with Technical Data Package requirements, and change package preparation.
