TotalMed is seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists nationwide. These assignments are typically 13-week travel assignments with both day and night shifts available.
TotalMed is seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists nationwide. These assignments are typically 13-week travel assignments with both day and night shifts available.
Responsibilities:
- Treat a wide range of patients from infants through elderly
- Consult with Physicians and other healthcare staff to develop and modify individual patient care plans
- Provide complex therapy requiring a great deal of independent judgement, such as caring for patients who are on life support
- Connect patients who cannot breathe on their own to ventilators that deliver pressurized oxygen to the lungs
- Teach patients how to use medications and equipment
- Perform regular checks on patients and equipment
Position Requirements:
- 8-13 week contracts
- 36-40 guaranteed hours
- Active State License, in good standing
- RRT Preferred, Minimum of CRT Required
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- BLS and ACLS Required, PALS and NRP Preferred
- Willing to Travel
